One of the many reasons Florida is perfect for destination weddings is the fact that you can have a gorgeous beach wedding in the middle of October. Bruce and Brooke’s beach ceremony at The Sandpearl was absolutely breathtaking – the sand was cool under our feet and the soft white curtains of their alter blew in the breeze.

Brooke’s attention to detail and artistic nature shined throughout her wedding and we loved how she incorporated Bruce’s Hawaiian culture- every beautiful detail, from the stunning lei to the sunset setting, took everyone someplace beautifully tropical.

A few weeks before their special day, Brooke and I had some fun at the stylish Birchwood Inn creating an intimate surprise wedding gift for Bruce- we had so much fun creating his sweet album and I’m sure he’ll cherish his gift for many years to come.

One emotional moment of many during the wedding where I struggled to hold back my tears was when Bruce, careful not to see his bride before the ceremony, came into her suite having turned his back and held hands with their little one surrounded with their family to pray.

The night went on with family and friends celebrating their love while dancing and creating some fun memories. Brooke’s very own decadent cupcakes – (including a secret ingredient!), which may be spotted on the Sandpearl hotel’s menu sometime soon, were a hit!

We are honored to have been a part of their special day and look forward to capturing many more beautiful memories for Brooke and Bruce.
