When I first started my journey in photography, I wondered how every session or wedding could be a photographer’s favorite. Surely, there’s only one that’s the photographer’s favorite, I thought. But to my surprise, I soon discovered that the unique elements and personalities in every photography experience are what make each and every one my favorite.

Emily found our work through Pinterest and after chatting on the phone a few times about her vision and sweet family, we couldn’t wait to meet them! As unpredictable as Florida weather can be, it was a cold, rainy and overcast day but that didn’t inhibit Emily, her husband Jeremy, and their cute little ones from having some fun at the beach! Right before sunset, the sun decided to break through for a few seconds and we were able to capture the last image in this post. It was magical.

We had such a wonderful time with the Chrysler family and I hope they include frequent visits back to Florida on their agenda.

Emily is such a doll, and we thank Collective Creations for doing a great job highlighting her beauty. Something for the guys, definitely check out Jeremy’s Kickstarter project: Mr. Davis: The World’s Best Undershirt. You can thank me later!

Enjoy some of our favorite images from their day!

Supportive words of encouragement and sweet compliments on our work come to mind when I think of how I met Jennifer. You see, Jennifer has been a loyal fan of our Facebook page since early 2010. She’s seen us grow as photographers, as a business, and has been an awesome supporter! It was such an honor when she told us years ago we’d be her ‘forever photographers’! :)

When the fates aligned and she booked her family session a few months ago, there was an extra pinch of excitement knowing we’d finally be able to meet one of our first fans in-the-flesh! Meeting and photographing Jennifer and her beautiful family was such a treat. Her two precious angels, Carlos and Sophia, are the most lovable little duo we’ve set our eyes on!

Jennifer’s family emits such a contagious love and they are so adorably happy together that we could have photographed their sweet moments together for days. These images captured are sure to make your heart smile.

Thank you Jennifer for sharing your family and time with us. It was an unforgettable adventure! We enjoyed creating these pretty memories with you and we are blessed with your wonderful friendship.

In addition to shooting weddings and creative editorials, senior sessions are among our favorite type of shoots. The creativity, fashion and unique personalities make for an awesome combination.

Khaled and I are always honored when other photographers book our services. We see it as one of the highest compliments, so you can imagine our excitement when Chelsea contacted us for her senior portraits. Chelsea is a graphic designer/photographer graduating from the same university I attended, the University of Tampa, and is already making things happen! Her sweet personality and infectious smile  are beautiful attributes and we had an amazing time getting to know more about Chelsea and her future aspirations. We look forward to working again with her…maybe in DC, right Chelsea?? ;)

The beautiful light, weather, and location couldn’t have been more perfect for this session! Enjoy a selection of our favorite images:

Fun. Yes, you can find the definition in the dictionary and right next to that you’ll find a picture of this family. Because I put it there. Meet Cynthia, Bryan and their sweet young ladies, Madi and Bree. We kinda sorta love them!

Cynthia works with Khaled at USF and I had the privilege of shooting a few corporate headshots for her and a co-worker a few months back. We were thrilled to meet Cynthia’s family and spend some time documenting their time together.

Cynthia did a fabulous job planning for her family session. She rocked out the pinterest inspiration and shared her family’s interests to help us choose the perfect location. Madi and Bree were naturals in front of the lens and had me laughing so much that my stomach hurt. I wanted to keep them forever. Ok, that may have sounded a bit like the Other Mother in Coraline but they were so stinkin’ adorable!!

Bryan definitely has his hands full with these three beautiful women in his life. Here are just a few of our many favorites from their session!

You can’t live life stressing about what others think, if you do, you’ll never truly live.

I’m sure you’ve heard of destination weddings, but have you heard of destination senior sessions? Well, that’s exactly what Shannon did this month! She visited us from Maryland for a rockin’ outdoors senior session. Besides Cheerleading, listening to Barefoot Blue Jean Night by Jake Owen (Side Note: You can catch one of the first models we worked with almost 2 year ago, Lacey, in the video), watching The Notebook and getting her sugar fix with Sour Gummy Worms, this seventeen year old loves country settings!

We found the perfect location to shoot, but as mother nature likes to stir things up a bit, it was pouring the day of Shannon’s session. Since Shannon lives in Maryland, we knew, rain or shine, we could not reschedule the session. I was determined to make the most of what mother nature was offering! Thankfully, the rain calmed down to sprinkles and the foggy mist after the downpour actually became the perfect backdrop to many of the images. It was perfect.

Shannon may not know this, but I’m thinking about hiring her as my personal stylist…I loved every adorable piece that she wore to the shoot! We had a wonderful time getting to know this talented and independent young lady and we hope all her goals and dreams become realities very soon! Enjoy our favs from the day.

I just had to share one of Shannon’s favorite quotes to this post. Great advice, everyone should feel this way.
