Florida destination wedding- palm trees, beach, and some piña coladas all come to mind. Leave it to Andrea and her brother/Stylist to fuse elegance, love and warmth to make this an unforgettable wedding weekend. Andrea and Will left the New York City grey skies and cold weather to enjoy some fun in the sun with their loved ones while they celebrated their special day. They had already tasted the Florida heat during their late summer engagement session and the surfer chic Postcard Inn was beyond ideal for their nuptials! Although the unpredictable Florida weather threatened to dampen their sweet day with rain, Andrea and Will’s love prevailed and they welcomed every raindrop with open arms. It was miraculous to see the sun peek from behind the storm clouds for a couple of minutes- just enough time to steal the newlyweds from their cocktail hour and capture their precious moments together with such a breathtaking backdrop.
As always, Collective Creations did an outstanding job on Andrea’s hair and make up. She looked absolutely radiant in her lace gown and Manolos. Besides falling in love with all the floral designs and the delicate bleu et blanc toile linens, I was obsessed with Andrea’s bouquet. Dahlias, astilbe, and peonies- Freshly Picked included most of my favorites. The centerpieces were made up of warm, brightly colored florals in pinks, oranges and red arranged in chinoiserie vases.
It was a pleasure working with such a creative and talented team. A big thanks to Lisa and Ashley of Exquisite Events for all their hard work. We wish Andrea and Will many more beautiful memories together.
