If you’ve been following our work for some years, you may remember one of our first couples, Ariel and Keith. Little did we know, Katrina was in attendance at their wedding- and almost five years later would contact us so we could capture her special day. We met Josh and Katrina over cupcakes and instantly knew we’d have some great adventures with this fun-loving, down-to earth couple.
During the planning, Katrina mentioned wanting to have a portion of their engagement session at home; which turned out to be an amazing idea, since Josh’s fully-stocked garage bar is not only the coolest bar in town, but also the very spot they celebrated at after she said YES! I loved everything about Josh and Katrina’s eclectic style; their distinct personalities add so much fun to the mix and at the heart of their beautiful relationship is an explosion of love and laughter.
We created some of our favorite portraits to date in the intimacy of their lovely home. Later, we hit the streets of downtown Tampa and captured the ‘Man of Steel’ (Josh’s last name is Steele) and Katrina looking effortlessly chic against a background of neon lights and high-rise buildings.
We had so much fun during their engagement shoot- Josh and Katrina took every opportunity to laugh and enjoy themselves, and it was a beautiful glimpse into their relationship and personalities. Khaled and I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding in 2017, enjoy some of our favorite captures below!
